Easel Ornament Card

This was my project for my meeting with the other Demo's in my group.  It's always a fun night when we get together.

I originally saw this fold idea on Pinterest and decided to give it a try as a Christmas Card.  This reminds me of the wood easels we all had in our classroom as kids.

Stampin' Up! Class Projects - October

Last night I held my October stamping class.  These are all the projects we made.  I think the Merry Christmas Sunburst Card was everyone's favorite.  We used the new Stampin' Up! Winter Frost Specialty DSP.  The little candy corn bag was a free treat for everyone who attended.  More photos and details on projects to come...

How I store my Stampin' Up! Twine...

I love finding new ways to store my stamping supplies.  This idea works because not only does the twine stay organized, but it also looks pretty on display.  Thank you Lilly for sending me the clothespins!

Happy Snowman

I first saw this card on Pinterest and wanted to try it.  I believe the original designer was Stasia Sloma... a very talented demonstrator.  I started to play around and I cut out 3 different sizes of ovals using the Stampin' Up! Oval Framelits and then I taped the 3 ovals together to make a template...  I like how this came out.

Ornament Gift Tags

This was one of the considerations for my 12 Weeks of Christmas projects... it didn't make it into the program, but I still like the way these turned out.  I used the Ornament Framelits and then filled in the background with Winter Frost DSP and added some "bling"...

Accidental Christmas Tags...

I had these ornament pieces left over from a class project from last year.  I couldn't bare throwing out the pieces and hoped that some day I would do something with them.  So I started playing this weekend and came up with  these Christmas tags.  I added a strip of gold glitter DSP and some trimmings...and done.  Feels so good to get rid of these pieces and make something useful and pretty!

Stampin' Up! 12x12 DSP Organization Tip

This is how I keep my 12x12 DSP organized.  I bought this rack on-line many years ago and it's perfect.  I like to keep my scraps and my DSP all in one spot.  I have clear Velcro envelopes for each slot and I keep the scraps with the DSP.  When I go to use the 12x12 paper for a project, I look in the scrap envelope first to see if I can use a scrap for my project.
