This is another project from my January Stamping Class.  I made this Easel Calendar using Stampin' Up! Lost Lagoon card stock and my FREE pack of "Best Year Ever" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  You can get this DSP FREE during Sale-A-Bration.  FREE items for every $50 you spend.


I made this easel calendar the perfect size to fit in a regular sized envelope for ease of mailing.

  • Lost Lagoon card stock
  • Best Year Ever DSP, Top Note Die cut for top strip, bottom strip 3/4" x 3 3/4" 
  • Card stock top:  10" x 3 3/4" and score at 5"
  • Card stock base/stand:  5" x 3 3/4" and score at 1", 2 1/2", 4"
  • Stampin' Up! Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamp sets
  • Calypso Coral Ink and Ruffled Ribbon
  • Calendar Pad layer in Soft Sky card stock  












Technique Tuesday: Bargello Technique

This is a technique you don't see often... Bargello Technique.  As I was posting this 6x6 technique card I wondered why it was called "Bargello Technique".  I Googled it...  Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid in a mathematical pattern to create motifs.  The name originates from a series of chairs found in the Bargello Palace in Florence.  I guess that makes sense when you see the pattern.
