February Stamping Class Project: Cookie Holder

This is one of the projects from my February Stampin Class.  We made this cookie holder using mostly FREE goodies during Sale-A-Bration:  Big Day stamp set, est Year Ever DSP and Best year Ever Accessory Pack (buttons and ribbon).

TIP:  I like to use clips to hold my project together before I'm ready to glue.  Allows you to see what the end project will look like and make sure you have the right shape.

Paint Chip Inspiration #5: Butterflies Thinlits Die

My friend Lilly and I got together to play around with paint chips and the new Stampin' Up! Thinlits Die...  love the results!!!

Throwback Thursday: Stampin' Up! CD Calendar - Heartfelt Thanks

This throwback project was something I made for a "Secret Santa" gift in Dec 2008.  I think having all the monthly pages in the same stamp set (Heartfelt Thanks) and sticking with the same color scheme gives the calendar an elegant look.  I love the way this looks even after so many years.

February Stampin Class Projects

Today I am sharing the projects from my February stamping class. We made such a variety of card themes... one nicer than the other.  I'm so happy the way these projects turned out. More details on each project to come.

I will be posting individual pictures and details in the coming days.

Class giveaway for all my guests.

Stampin' Up! Butterflies Thinlits Diet Cut

This butterfly is so gorgeous...  it looks great on any card, any color... it's beautiful.

Stampin' Up! Indescribable Gift

If you haven't tried the new Stampin' Up! Blendabilities markers, you are really missing out. The markers are so easy to use and gives you a smooth color coverage.  I used to use the Aquapen for all my coloring, but the Blendabilities markers cover much more evenly.

I used the Razzleberry Blendabilities with Indescribable Gift stamp set to make this card.

TIP:  I was able to get the "Happy Easter" saying on 2 lines by cutting the stamp in half.  It's easy to do with clear stamps and you can always line them up again on a clear block if you want the saying on one line.

Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration: "Big Day" and "Best Year Ever"

I'm very happy how this card turned out.  And the best part is the stamp set "Big Day" and the Designer Series Paper used "Best Year Ever" were both FREE during Sale-A-Bration.  It's not too late for you to get your FREE goodies!!

Stampin' Up! Lotus Blossom - Warm Wishes

I'm loving this Lotus Blossom Stamp Set, and the fact that it was FREE during Sale-A-Bration is even better.  The Design Series Paper I used in this card,  "Best Year Ever" was also FREE...

Tuesday Technique: Butterfly Pansies

It's always great when you have a tool or a product that has dual purposes.  With this Butterfly Pansies Technique you can make pansies using a butterfly punch.  So clever.

Paint Chip Inspiration #4: Blue Butterfly

Today's Paint Chip inspiration is a simple birthday card using a light blue paint chip from Home Depot.  This card could work with any paint chip color combination.   I added Night of Navy border trim and stamped the butterfly in Night of Navy.  I used Black Stazon ink for the greeting so it wouldn't smear on the paint chip since it has a slight sheen.  Love the crisp, clean lines and the simplicity of this card.

Stampin with Scraps: Stampin' Up! Stacked With Love

This is yet another card I put together using scraps from my Stampin' Up! Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper pack in the new Occasion Catalog.

Punched little squares with my 1" Square Punch and then I rounded only 2 of the opposing corners. Just like that, it looks like a flower.  Hope this inspires you!

Stampin' Up! Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

This was another one of my cards from my January stamping class.  I cased this card from Pinterest... I thought, what a great use of scraps.  These banners were made using the Banner Punch and scraps from Stampin' Up! Stacked With Love DSP Pack from the new Occasions Catalog.  For the background I used the new Stampin' Up! Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder also from the Occasions Catalog.
