The beauty of Stampin' Up! Christmas Season Stamp Set is the layering. For this Merry Christmas card, it's all about the layering of the different shades of green (Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen) with a traditional look of pinecones (Crumb Cake, Soft Suede) and red berries (Real Red).
- Soft Succulent Cardstock card base: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
- White Cardstock layer: 5-1/4" x 4"
- On the White Cardstock layer I first stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. Then I added the berries stamping the stems in Soft Suede and the berries in Real red. The splatter dots were stamped in Old Olive and Crumb Cake
- After stamping everything, I ran the stamped White Cardstock layer through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to give it depth and texture
- The pinecones were stamped separately using Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Inks and then popped up on the card
- The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set in the Holiday Catalog. I used a Versamark Pad to stamp the greeting on Black Cardstock and then emboss with White Embossing Powder
