Black & White With a Touch of Polished Pink

Today's "just for you" card is Black & White with a touch of Polished Pink.  The tag is cut from the Host Pattern Party Designer Series Paper with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.  To add a little shimmer, I cut the butterfly in Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum using the Brilliant Wings Dies.

Card Details:

• Black Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• White Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4", embossed with Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder
• Tag measures 3 1/2" x 2" and one end is cut using the Delightful Tag Topper Punch

You're Absolutely Amazing in Pool Party

Today's cards were both made using the Color & Contour Bundle which includes the Color & Contour Stamp Set and the Scalloped Contours Dies.  I kept the color palette the same on both cards using White, Pool Party and Black. The Pool Party Cardstock pieces are embossed with the Splatter 3D Embossing Folder which is part of the Stripes & Spalatters 3d Embossing Folders set.

Card Details

• White Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Pool Party Cardstock:  5 1/4" x 3" other piece cut out using Scalloped Contours Dies
• The flowers were stamped in Black Memento Ink and colored in with Pool Party Ink and the leaves are colored in with Old Olive Blends

 

Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper Butterfly Card

I sort of created this card by accident.   I cut out the Butterfly using Brilliant Wings Dies and Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper.  After I cut out the butterfly, the reverse side of the DSP had such nice contrast that I decided to use it as the background for the butterfly.  The abstract colors in the Flowering Fields DSP background pick up the colors in the butterfly and make it pop.

• Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock:  4 1/8" x 3 1/8"
• The "Happy Birthday" sentiments is from he Art Gallery Stamp Set
• Flowering Fields DSP:  3 3/4" x 2 3/4" - popped up with Dimensionals on the White Cardstock piece
