Throwback Thursday: Fall Centerpiece

Love this idea...  you can make this for Fall, for Christmas... makes a wonderful center piece.   Basically it's one piece of 12 x 12 paper, with cuts going down, but all the way through the paper and you have a glass candle holder in the middle... Clever and beautiful.

October Class Projects

Today I am sharing the projects from my October class.  We made the last of the Coaster Calendars.  Love the way the December one came out... Just realized the coaster calendar doesn't have a calendar on there... but I think you can figure it out.

I also made this adorable centerpiece.  I saw this on Pinterest and had to try it.  Came out cute.

I wasn't sure of the box I saw on pinterest, so I made it my own.  I used a 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of Old Olive card stock and I scored 2 1/4 on all sides.

Throwback Thursday: Halloween Mash!

Today I am sharing some great Halloween projects from past stamping classes.  Looking back was a great way to get inspired for new Halloween projects.

Christmas Inspiration from Christmas Past: Ornament Cards

Lovely cards using the ornament stamp set and punch...  same set, but different styles and colors.

Technique Tuesday: Rubber Cement Resist

Another cool technique... go steal some rubber cement glue from your kids room and try this!

Throwback Thursday: Pink Milk Carton

Back in the day at Stampin' Up! they used to sell these 12 x 12 sheets of templates for all types of boxes.  This is one of those.  I guess it was the beginning of the milk cartons that are so popular now...

Christmas Inspiration from Christmas Past: Red Pouch & Tags

Most of you have seen these pouches around.  They never go out of style.  Basically it's a 6x6 clear protective sheet with the hole punched edge cut off and glued to a sheet of card stock.  Very cute and make a great gift.

Technique Tuesday: Brayered Specialty Paper

Some of you may remember... Stampin' Up! used to have this "specialty paper" that looked all white, but had a design on it and it was almost a shimmer type paper.  That was the paper used to make this gorgeous background.

Throwback Thursday: Altered Brown Paper Bags

Who says you can't make a brown paper bag look like a fancy gift bag!  These are 2 designs from my old stamping class projects.  They certainly would work today for a pretty gift bag!

Christmas Inspiration from the Past: Globe Snowman Card

Over the years I've made so many Christmas projects for my classes and for friends.  And I've collected so many beautiful cards from swaps.

As I look back, I realize all these projects are so lovely and it would be great to see them again and get inspired.  I will randomly begin featuring Christmas Inspirations from Christmas Past.  Hope this inspires you.

Technique Tuesday: Sparkly Stained Glass

This technique is definitely sparkly.  With the right colors, this could make a great 3D Christmas Ornament.
