Throw Back Thursday: Mom Brag Books

Today's throw back projects are "Brag Books".  These are those little photo albums that you find in the Dollar Store.  They are 4 x 6 brag books... they almost look like those little calendars people used to carry around.  I altered them by covering them with my own Stampin' Up! DSP or stamping my own cover and stamped the letters.

Technique Tuesday: Black Magic

This is probably one of the prettiest techniques I have seen.  It is definitely time consuming, but so worth it.  This stamp set is retired from Stampin' Up!, but I think this technique would work with many of the floral stamps they have for sale.  Enjoy and I hope this inspires you today!

Happy Watercolor Fold Card

This is my new obsession... I love making these fold cards.  I did not use the framelit for this.  I cut a piece of white card stock 9 1/2 x 5 1/4 and then I scored at 4 and 7.  Then I layered the piece on colored card stock.  Here I used Stampin' Up! Crisp Cantaloupe and Pool Party.

I made these cards for my swap for my INKredible Impressions Spring event last Saturday and the girls also made this card at my monthly stamping class.

Stampin' Up! Fun Flowers Die Cut

Made these adorable giveaways for everyone who attended my class.  They were really easy to make using the Stampin' Up! Fun Flowers Die Cut.  You better hurry if you want this die, it's on the retired list.

Stampin' Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Mini Box

This is a closer look at one of my projects from my April stamping class.  Made this mini box using the Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 In-Color Paper Pack DSP - Coastal Cabana.

Score on long side:  1 3/4, 2 1/2, 5 3/4, 6 1/2 then turn and score at 1, 1 3/4, 3 3/4, 4 1/2
Need to cut off corner tabs (see last photo)

These are just some of the samples from my INKredible Impressions Spring Event.

Throw Back Thursday: Stampin' Up! Gift Bag
