Technique Tuesday: Velvet Embossing

When you look at the first photo of the Velvet Embossing Technique, it just looks like a plain black Top Note die cut.  But as you can see in the second photo...  there is a pattern in the background and it looks like velvet.  Very cool.

I thought it was only appropriate to make a Father's Day card with a tie on the front.  So why not make one using paint chips.

Throwback Thursday: Daisy Tin

I purchased this tin at a local craft store and jazzed it up with designer series paper and the Daisy Die Cuts on top.  I actually cut out a bunch of the Daisies and that's what's inside the tin.  The funny thing about this tin is there is a blooper...  can you figure it out?
