Beautiful Sympathy Cards...

I'm back posting on my blog...  Unfortunately I recently lost both my parents within a week of each other.  As you can imagine, it's been a difficult time.  Receiving these beautiful sympathy cards from my Stampin' Up! friends made me smile...

Bloomin Hearts Thinlits Cards

These cards were made easy with the Stampin' Up! Bloomin Hearts Thinlits Die.  For the first card, I used daubers and sponged the heart thinlit with Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  I kept a  sheet of white cardstock underneath so when I sponged, it created a reverse image on the paper.

Decorated the cards with Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron, and Pool Party flowers.

Stampin' Blends for a Beautiful Day Thinking of You Card

I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the flower from Beautiful Day stamp set and then used Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin' Blends.  The "Always Thinking of You" greeting is stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

For the DSP background, I cut a piece of Painted with Love DSP measuring 4" x 4" and then cut on the diagonal.

Heartfelt Blooms - Sending Heartfelt Thoughts...

The Heartfelt Blooms Sale-A-Bration stamp set looks amazing in any color combo.  I used Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party to create this card.  

Birthday Wishes with Pool Party Stampin' Blends

The strip of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper adds a nice splash of color to this card.  I colored in the roses using the Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin Blends.

Painted With Love Specialty DSP Sunburst Birthday

Loving the new Painted With Love Specialty DSP - Sunburst Birthday card.  The DSP looks great against the Calypso Coral cardstock and Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon.
