True Love Designer Series Paper Cards

Today I am sharing two cards made with the True Love Designer Series Paper.  I colored in the small flowers using the Light Pool Party Blend and Light Old Olive for the leaves.

I created this simple 'Thinking of You" card to show how nicely the Brilliant Wings Dies coordinate with both the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and the Butterfly Bijou 6x6 Designer Series Paper.  These are all part of the Butterfly Brilliance Collection. The 'thinking of you' sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.

Organize It Friday - Tip #5: Paper Pumpkin Stamps

 

I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month.  There is something about opening up a box and being surprised with what's inside and all the great ways I can use the kit to create fun projects.  Every Paper Pumpkin Kits comes with a set of stamps that coordinate with the monthly kits. 

I like to store the stamps so I can see them and have them handy versus keeping them in the Paper Pumpkin Box.  I bought large 5" x 7" clear envelopes to store the stamps.  I stamped the images on white cardstock so I can easy see the images and greetings and I keep the stamped sheet with the stamps in the clear envelope.  I found this file sorter at Home Goods. 

Art Gallery Happy Birthday Card in Pool Party & Coastal Cabana

I used the Art Gallery Stamp Set for this card, which is two-step stamp set.  I stamped the first layer in Pool Party Ink, the second layer in Coastal Cabana Ink and then the middle stem in Soft Suede Ink.  The leaf stem was stamped in Old Olive Ink.

Two-Step Stamping Tip:  To make sure my flower layers line up, I found this neat trick.  I  stamped my first layer in Pool Party Ink.  Then using a template I cut out using the Floral Gallery Dies, I lined up the template on top of the flower and stamp my next layer in Coastal Cabana Ink.  As you can see, the two colored flower is nicely stamped within the die frame.

  

 

I keep the template I cut up in the stamp case so it's always handy when using the Art Gallery Stamp set.

Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper - Rococo Rose

I used the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper to create this elegant card.  The Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper has elegant patterns with foil accents.  This DSP has three patterns and three different colors in the paper pack...  Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose and Sahara Sand.  I used Rococo Rose for this card.

• Love You Always Specialty DSP in Rococo Rose:  5 1/4" x 4"
• The "Just wanted to send some happy thoughts your way" sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set, which I stamped in Soft Suede Ink and cut out using the Stitched Nested Label Dies
• Greeting is layered in Sahara Sand cardstock
• Sahara Sand Cardstock strip:  5 1/4" x 1/2" and embossed using the Greenery Embossing Folder
