Oh So Ombre Gift Bag

So I know the Oh So Ombre 6x6 Designer Series Paper is retired as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion, but I made this gift bag for a friend who loves this paper.  But of course, this template can easily be substituted using any Stampin' Up! 6x6 Designer Series Paper.

Details:
  • Need 2 sheets of 6x6 DSP
  • Score at 1 1/2" on each side on both sheets
  • Score at 1 1/2" from the bottom on both sheets (bottom only)
  • Cut up to the score line on the bottom and trim the edges (see photos)
  • Tape your sides together and then fold in the bottom pieces and glue together

I made a bow using the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon and used a Glue Dot to adhere to a tiny white clothespin.  It's a cute way to keep the gift bag closed.

Paying Tribute to the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and Butterfly Duet Punch...

It's time to say good by to the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and the Butterfly Duet Punch. This is your last chance to snag this beautiful stamp set and coordinating punch before they retire for good.  Below are all the projects I have made over the years using using this stamp set and punch.  Boy, I guess I do love my butterflies.  : )

Sneak Peek 2021-2023 In Colors with Wild Rose Background Stamp

I thought it would be fun to make a card using the new 2021-2023 In Colors.  I stamped five different sheets, each with a new in color using the Wild Rose Background Stamp.   Then I cut strips measuring 3 1/2" x 7/8" and layered them on Vellum Cardstock which looks so pretty against the Smoky Slate Cardstock.

Details:

  • Smoky Slate Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Vellum Cardstock:  5" x 3 3/4"
  • Each strip measures 3 1/2" x 7/8" (just under 1")
