I love the brush stroke design in the Fine Art Designer Series Paper. I sure hope you snag a pack of this paper soon before the Summer Mini Catalog sale period ends. I used small strips of the DSP to create this beautiful work of art.

Happiness with Painted Poppies Stamp Set

I am thrilled about today's beautiful card made with the Painted Poppies Stamp Set. The color combination of Basic Gray, Blushing Bride and Old Olive inks compliment each other so nicely. I used Flirty Flamingo Light Blend , Roccoco Rose Light Blend and the two Old Old Blends to color in the poppies and leaves.

Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper Gift Bag

You know stampers cannot throw anything away. I recently made a purchase at Ulta Beauty and they put my stuff in a pretty little orange gift bag. The color reminded me of the colors in the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. So I decided to repurpose the bag. I used a strip of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper to cover the logo and added a tag... now it's ready to go if I need a gift bag.

White Cardstock strip: 8 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Fine Art Floral DSP strip: 8 1/2" x 4"
Bumblebee Cardstock tag: 2" x 3 3/4", punch on one end using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
White Cardstock tag layer: 3" x 1 7/8"
Fine Art Floral DSP strip on tag (2x): 1 7/8" x 1" and 1 7/8" x 1/4"

In Good Taste Designer Series Paper Makes Me Happy

Today's post showcases a beautiful card I made using In Good Taste 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. The octagon pattern on this paper is so classy and is nicely complimented against the Granite Gray Cardstock and Rococo Rose Cardstock.

Gray Granite Cardstock card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
White Cardstock layer: 5" x 3 3/4"
In Good Taste DSP: 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Ferns were cut out using the Forever Flourishing Dies with White Cardstock and Gray Granite Cardstock

Organize It Friday - Tip #10: Crafting Storage Tins

Today I am sharing how I like to store my crafting supplies... especially the ones I don't use every day. I bought these tins from Stampin' Up! many years ago, but this organizing tip will work with any bin. I prefer bins that are closed and easily stackable because I prefer not to see "all the stuff".

I printed out labels for each tin so it is easy to find what I need. I store various crafting supplies in these bins... Chip Board, Wire, Brushes, Paint Chips, Glue & Glue Gun, Clear Bags, Wooden Blocks, etc.

Black & White With a Little Purple Posy

I am in love with this Happy Birthday card... I am calling it "Black & White With A Little Purple Posy". That little splash of Purple Posy color gives it just enough. Both the black and white patterned paper and the flowers are from the True Love Designer Series Paper pack.

True Love DSP: triangles were cut out using the Stitched Triangle Dies
Flowers were cut out of the True Love DSP and colored in using the Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam Blends
