Simple Sunday Cards Using "Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper"

Today I am sharing some simple cards featuring the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Spring Mini Catalog .  This paper is absolutely stunning with high-quality patterned paper featuring various floral and leaf designs.

Happy Birthday - Well Said, Well Written

A little HAPPY Birthday card made with True Love Designer Series Paper and 6x6 Subtles Designer Series Paper.  Flowers were cut out from the True Love DSP..  no coloring, just kept them simple in Black & White.

Organize It Friday: Stamp Sets

I store my stamp sets in Clear Plastic DVD Holders I purchased from The Container Store.  You can also find these on Amazon (see below).  Stampin' Up! Stamp Cases fit perfectly in the slots.  I organize my stamps by alphabet.  I keep my the Christmas Stamps separate since they are seasonal. The holder on the right has the current stamp set and the one on the left has the stamp sets that will be retiring soon.

The DVD Holder holds 14 stamp cases. If you change your mind on where you want to store your stamps, you can move these cases around anywhere in your craft room... they are also stackable.

Brilliant Wings I'm Thinking of You Card

Today's card has a mix of Pretty Peacock, Pool Party and Granny Apple Green.  The butterfly was cut out using the Brilliant Wings Dies and I used Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes to color in the butterfly with Granny Apple Green and Pool Party Inks.  The strip of paper on the left is from Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. I ripped the paper on one side for more texture.

• Pretty Peacock Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4" - embossed with Pained Texture 3 D Embossing Folder

• The paper strip on the left is from Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper - ripped on one side

 

Black & White With A Little Calypso Coral

This card is all black and white except for a little strip colored in with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Blends.  All the strips were scraps from True Love Designer Series Paper and measure about 1/2" wide.

Details: 

• Arrange the scraps on a 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of White Cardstock
• Glue down your pieces and turn it over to cut off the excess
• Layer onto a 5" x 4" piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock
• Layer on top of Black Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
• The "Kindness is Always in Style" sentiment is from the Dressed  to Impress Stamp Set

 

Triangles Dies Asymmetrical Card

Today's post is a fun "asymmetrical" card using the Stitched Triangles Dies.  I mixed and matched Basic Gray Cardstock, Pool Party Cardstock and Smoky Slate Cardstock, along with a piece of Melon Mambo Designer Series Paper.  I think the colors look great together.

Details:

• White Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2"
• Smoky Slate Cardstock layer:  5" x 3 3/4"
• Triangles were cut out using the Stitched Triangles Dies..  the Smoky Slate and Pool Party pieces were embossed using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder
• The "I'm thinking of you" sentiment is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set
