Happy Birthday You Sweet Thing - Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set

Today's Happy Birthday card is as sweet as the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set.  I used the combination of Real Red, Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Inks to create this card.  The strawberries are two step stamps, which I used Real Red Ink for the outline and Poppy Parade Ink for the inside.  For the leaves I used Granny Apple Green for the outline and inside, but I stamped off for the inside to make it lighter.  I used Daffodil Delight for the small flower.  All elements were punched out using the Strawberry Builder Punch.

• White Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4", embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
• Granny Apple Green 6x6 DSP strip:  5" x 2 1/2"

 

Stampin' Up! Artistic Dies Thank You Card

Today's thank you card features the Artistic Dies and Blending Brushes.  I cut the floral stencil flower using Pool Party Cardstock with Artistic Dies.  I used Blending Brushes and Pool Party Ink to lightly color the background behind the stencil.

Technique Tuesday: Spotlight Technique

Today's card features the fun Spotlight Technique, named for the attention it draws to a specific spot on the card.  It is very simple to do in only three steps.  I chose to use the Painted Poppies Stamp Set.

1. Stamp your image and select what you want to spotlight.  Stamp the image again on a separate piece of card stock
2. Color in the part of the image you want to spotlight and Die-cut with the Circles Dies
3. Layer and pop-up your image on the card overlaying your original image

 

Painted Poppies Happy Birthday Card

Sharing a little Painted Poppies Stamp Set card.  I stamped the poppies in Black Memento Ink and then colored them in with Calypso Coral Stampin Blends and Old Olive Stampin Blends.

Details:

• Calypso Coral Cardstock layer:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4" - embossed with Macrame 3D Embossing Folder
• True Love DSP is retired, but you can use any black and white strip:  5" x 1 1/4"

I'm Thinking of You With Daisy Lane

This card shares my love of the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and the new  in color Polished Pink.  The daisies are stamped in Polished Pink Ink and I used a strip of Polished Pink 6x6 Designer Series Paper to bring it all together.

• Basic Gray Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4", embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
