Alter It Thursday: Snowman Ornament Hat

I'm starting a new series on my blog called "Altered Thursday".  I will be taking things from around the house and things you may be throwing away, but I will altering them into creative craft goodies.

I made this tiny Snowman hat from an empty roll of label tape.  It is so tiny and cute and looks adorable hung on my Christmas tree.

Paint Chip Inspiration #25: Holly Christmas Tags

Found a cute holly pattern online (see below) and decided to cut some holly leaves using paint chip strips.  I used a small round punch for the holly berry.  Hope this inspires you.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Card: Stampin' Up! Flurry of Wishes

This was my Christmas card for 2015. I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set Flurry of Wishes along with the matching snowflake punch and Flower Medallion punch.  Having punches that coordinate makes it easy to punch out all the snowflakes. I punched out circles out of the scraps of Gold Foil card stock for the center of the snowflakes.

Hershey Nugget Sleeves

After making nuggets sleeves for my December stampin class, I was inspired to make these for my co-workers.  They were very quick and simple. Dimensions can be found in my post on Dec 26.

December Stampin Class Project: Snowman Hats & Hershey Nuggets

These Snowman Hats made from coffee cans have been a reoccurring theme on my blog.  Everyone wants to make one so I had the girls make them as part of my monthly class project.

What's a stampin class without chocolate?  These are holiday Hershey Nugget Sleeves made super easy.  Card stock is 2" x 4" and scored 1/4" on each side.  The bags are Pretzel bags I bought from Michael's (cake aisle).

December Stampin Projects: Christmas Cards

Love the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies...so beautiful and I can't get enough of the Merry Moments DSP Pack.

December Stampin Class Project: Gift Card Holder

Love the way this gift card holder came out and the best part is it fits into a regular sized envelope. I cased this idea from LeeAnn Greff.

Gift Card Holder Dimensions
Real Red:  4 1/4" x 11" and score  at 2" and 5 1/2"
Merry Moments DSP (candy cane):  2" x 4"
Mossy Meadow Layer:  4" x 3 1/4"
White Layer:  3 3/4" x 3"
Circle Punch:  1 3/8"

As many stampers know.. we can't throw anything away.  So after punching out the trees for the gift card holder cover, I used the sheet to make these cards...  the reverse punched sheet works just as well for a card.

Stampin December Class Projects

These are the wonderful projects from my December Stampin Class.  The girls got to make this beautiful snowman hat, the nugget sleeve, Christmas cards and a Gift Card Holder (directions and details forthcoming).

These candy cane tags were the giveaways for everyone who attended my class.

Paint Chip Inspiration #24: Rudolph

I couldn't resist making this adorable Rudolph card when I saw it online.  The face is made using a paint chip strip.  The antlers are made using a snowflake punch. This would be a great project to make with kids for the holidays.

Stampin' Up! Merry Moments Gift Bag

This is a quick and easy way to throw together a Christmas gift bag this season.  I love this green plaid pattern which is part of the Stampin' Up! Merry Moments DSP pack.

Making the gift bag inspired me to share some other gift bags I've made in the past.  Hope these bags  inspire you.
