This Happy Birthday card features the new Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks from the Jan-June Mini Catalog. These stencils are an easy way to blend colors and create beautiful backgrounds. The images really pop whey you layer the detailed masks and create dimension with different ink colors. These masks have butterflies and flowers some large and some smaller for fantastic backgrounds.
Card Details:
- Smoky Slate Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Highland Heather Cardstock layer: 4 1/2" x 3 3/4"
- White Cardstock layer: 4 1/4" x 3 1/2"
- I used the Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes with Highland Heather Ink for the first layer on the larger butterfly image. Then I layered the more detailed butterfly stencil and used Gorgeous Grape Ink. For the corner flowers, I used Smoky Slate Ink
- The "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set is stamped on Black Cardstock with Versamark Ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder
