Today I'm sharing some beautiful "flower shaped cards" from the past. They make beautiful display pieces.  Made these using the shaped framelits.

 

Paint Chip Inspiration #19: Bookmarks

These paint chips were my gift to the girls who attended my July Stampin' Class.  I stamped the flowers using Black Stazon Ink - Secret Garden Stamp Set.  I found these awesome paint chips at my local Sherman Williams paint store.  Love the color combos.

Stampin With Scraps: Painted Blooms DSP

I was playing around one day and I made this card using scraps from Painted Blooms DSP paper.  I tried to make it look like flowers in a field.

The bottom of this card was made using Flowering Flourishes stamp set.  Love those big crystal buttons.

Stampin' Up! Blooming With Kindness and Happy Birthday Everyone

This was a project from my July class.  This flower is from the Blooming With Kindness Stamp Set... it's retired, but I love this flower.  The greeting is from the new hostess set Happy Birthday Everyone.  I used Strawberry Slush ink and DSP.

  

Stampin' Up! Birthday Blossoms

I couldn't wait to play with the new stamp set Birthday Blossoms.  I used Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz for this card.  I love that the Stampin' Up! Pansy punch works for this set and the Flower Shop stamp set.  This was also one of my July Stampin' Class Projects.

Throwback Thursday: Stampin' Up! Two Tag Die Cut

The Two Tag Die Cut is retired, but boy was it useful...  these are just some of the projects I made using that die.  It was so versatile.

Tuesday Technique: Faux Wood Technique

Very cool technique... looks like wood planks.  This is done with inks and scoring tool.  This would be a great background for a "fall/autumn" card.  I always wonder who comes up with these cool technique ideas.

Stampin' Up! Best Thoughts

I love this new Stampin' Up! stamp set, Best Thoughts... It's one of the hostess sets from the new catalog.  I cased this card from Pinterest.  I switched up the design a little.  I embossed the flower and the butterfly with white embossing powder and colored them in with So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Last Lagoon.  Love the way it turned out.

Stampin' Up! Flower Shop and Birthday Blossoms

This card was a project from my July Stampin' Class.  I used the Stampin' Up! stamp sets Flower Shop and Birthday Blossoms.  The background is Sahara Sand card stock with the Honeycomb embossing folder.  The flowers were stamped in Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  I saw this card on Pinterest and love it so much I had to make it.

Paint Chip Inspiration #18: Flowers in Bloom

 This was one of the projects from my July Stampin' Class.  The girls got to pick out their own color combo paint chip.  I used Secret Garden stamp set, which is retired, but I love it.  I used a black Stazon Ink Pad so the ink wouldn't smear on the paint chips since they are a little slick.

Throwback Thursday: Mini Fold Card

This Throwback Thursday project is a mini card that can hold a tea bag or a gift card.  Stampin' Up! didn't have rhinestones or pearls back then so we had to use little brads for the center of the butterfly.
