Rose Garden Thinlit: A Rose In Bloom Pink Puzzle Card

I received many requests to post instructions for my "Puzzle / Stained Glass" card using the Rose Garden Thinlit that I posted on March 16.  So here is another card I created for my March Stampin Class with instructions below.

First I cut out 3 roses using the smaller flower die.  I cut one in Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and White.  I did the same for the leaves... one in Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow and White.  Do not separate the flowers or leaves yet, it will make it easier to fill in if you know where the pieces go.

Use the cut out of the rose trace the image onto white card stock.  Cut the rose out and put mono all over the piece and layer with the white stencil piece.

Now piece your rose together like a "puzzle".  I mixed in the Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride pieces to create this rose.

Now do the same for the leaf.  Using the cut out, trace the leave on a piece of card stock and put mono all over and layer with the stencil piece.

Now fill in your leaves in Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz to create your desired look.

Beautiful!

Rose Garden Small Flower Thinlit

Playing around with the Rose Garden thinlits and created this simple but pretty card using the other elements in the thinlit pack.  We made this card for one of the projects from my March Stampin Class.

I love the way the Lost Lagoon and Pool Party flowers look against the Pear Pizzazz leaves.  I trimmed some of the leaves for a different look.

Easter Egg Hunt

So can you tell where these Easter Eggs came from?  I used the Balloon Celebration stamp set and Balloon Bouquet punch to create these eggs.  I stamped the balloons and punched them out and snipped off the balloon ends.  I added the splatter using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

Happy Easter Washi Tape Egg

This Happy Easter card was made with Washi Tape.  I use Oval Thinlits to cut out the oval for the egg and decorated the egg with various washi tape and the Metallics Glitter Tape from Sale-A-Bration.

Happy Easter Soft Subtles Egg

This was one of my class projects for my March Stampin Class.  This Soft Subtles egg was made using the Timeless Textures stamp set.  Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride ink pads.

March Stampin Class Projects: Class Giveaway

I made these Easter Matchbooks as a giveaway for my March Stampin Class.  I cut the card stock 8 1/4" by 3 1/4" and scored at 3/"4 and 4 3/4".  The DSP paper is 2 3/4" x 3".

March Stampin Class Projects

I had a nice treat for the girls at my stamping class this month.  We made all these great projects in one night.  I will show more photos and details on these projects in the days ahead.

Monochromatic Monday: Balloon Fun

Love the simplicity of this white on white card.  I used the circle thinlits to create the circle and used a heart punch for the bottom of the balloon.

Paint Chip Inspiration #28: CREATE Banner

I needed a little brightness in my craft room and this banner I made from paint chips certainly does the trick.  Hope this inspires you.

With Sympathy Watercolor

I sort of made up this card as I went along.  First I used the marker direct to stamp technique and stamped the image on white card stock.  But it needed something else so I colored the image with markers directly on the rubber stamp again, but before stamping on the paper again, I spritzed some water.  Then I just outlined the images randomly with a black fine marker.

Crushed Curry, Old Olive

Beautiful in Black & White

Black and White is probably my most favorite color combo.  This is true when it comes to stamping and even with my wardrobe.  This butterfly is "Beautiful in Black & White".

Ode To St. Patty's Day

Ode to St. Patty's Day card.  Had fun throwing together this quick 4 x 4 card to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I used the mini heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punches to create the clovers and the Bird Builder punch for the stem.

Rose Garden Puzzle

I'm calling this the "Rose Wonder Puzzle" card since it is like a puzzle when you put the pieces together.  I believe the official technique name is "stained glass".  I used So Saffron and Hello Honey card stock on the rose and Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive card stock on the leaves.
