Christmas Ornament and Gift Bag

My friend Lilly Ruiz made me this beautiful ornament using a regular glass ornament ball and Stampin' Up! Natural and Old Olive Two-Tone Trim from the Holiday Mini.  She wrapped the trim around the ball using red sticky tape.  The Santa tag/ornament is an added bonus.  Love them both!

Turning a Star Ornament / Tag into Card

Some of the girls who attend my monthly stamping class rather make just cards versus cards and 3D items.  This star ornament/tag was one of the 3D items from my last class.

So when we made this star, it was easy to make this into a card.  We didn't punch the hole for the string and put the star on White and Basic Gray card stock.

Money Card Holders

In an earlier post I gave instructions on how to make the Santa Suite Money Holder Card...  I Couldn't resist making a snowman one also.

The hanging tag is made using transparency paper cut in a circle and the rim around the tag has glue and glitter... of course.  The snow was made ripped strips of white paper with glitter on the peaks and the little trees were made using Stampin' Up! Christmas DSP cut into small triangles.

Stampin' Up! Ornamental Pine Christmas Card

It usually takes me a little while to come up with my Christmas card for the year.  But I have to admit as soon as I saw the stamp set Ornamental Pine in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini, I knew that was the one.  My cards were a lot of work, but it was worth it.  I love the way they turned out.  I used Last Lagoon and Soft Sky card stock and I embossed the white pine branch and the speckles of snow using White Craft Ink and white embossing powder.  Speckles were from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Season's Greetings Snowflake Card

Today I am sharing a sample of holiday cards I made for a friend... handmade 110 cards.  Yikes!!

Stampin' Up! Jewelry

Stamping is never ending... you can stamp and make anything out of anything.  I've seen ornaments made out of the cardboard piece that is left over from an empty toilet paper roll.  So why not make necklace out of paper or a washer from Home Depot...  amazing.

Made by Sandy Silberquit - she made this beautiful necklace out of rolled up paper.  It was a great Secret Santa Gift.

I can recall exactly, but I think I got this as a swap.  It is a metal washer that you find in the plubming section at Home Depot.

Another project made by Sandy.  That's DSP paper behind that clear stone and she used ribbon as the necklace.

Throwback Thursday: Stampin' Up! Bird Builder Punch Ornament - Mason Jar Lid

Today's Throwback project is an ornament made from a mason jar lid.  It's amazing how you can make an ornament out of anything and I've learned that stampers do not throw anything away.

Made a hole in the top to run ribbon through and knot the ribbon so it can be a hook to hang.
