Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board Basket

I was playing around with my Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board and made this adorable basket.  I got the idea from a very talented demonstrator from the UK...  Pootles.  She has some amazing ideas on her blog.

Scalloped Envelope Treat Bag

I was playing around with old DSP paper today and created this cool Scalloped Envelope.  It's great for holding little treats...  I had a Hershey Bar laying around so I stuck it in there for the picture.

Measurements:  7 1/2 x 5 and score at 3 1/2 and 7

Throwback Thursday: Roses In Winter Gift Pouch

This Throwback Thursday sample was from a demonstrator swap.  I think they used a template for this gift pouch.  I used to love this old stamp set...  Roses in Winter.  I was refreshing my displays and this inspired me to create a new gift pouch with current DSP and embellishments.

Stampin' Up! Sympathy Cards

It's unfortunate, but some times we need sympathy cards.  I think any pretty set will work for sympathy as long as you keep it simple.  I just got this swirl set, Stampin' Up! Flowering Flourishes and I think I can do a lot with this one!

Technique Tuesday: Clouds

Clouds, is that really a technique?  I think it is... it's definitely a nice background and such a simple technique.  But it does liven up the background on the sample below.  Love it.

Confirmation Favors: Coaster Calendars

Made these magnetic coaster calendars for a friend for her son's confirmation.  I actually made them last year, but I don't think I ever posted them.  They look great in the cello bags with the bow.  This DSP makes them masculine and appropriate for a boys confirmation.

Stamping With Scraps: Watercolor Wonder

Stampers do not like to throw anything away... especially not their scraps.  I keep all my DSP scraps (Designer Series Paper)... they are just too pretty to throw away.  But what do you do with all those small scraps?  So I came up with the theme "Stamping with Scraps".  Below is a sample which shows a great way to use your scraps and create a beautiful card!  I used various circle punches for this card, but it would also look great with squares!!

Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wonder DSP from the Occasions Mini

Reminder:  from a previous post....

I like to store my scraps in 9x12 Clear Velcro Envelopes.  I keep an envelope with each paper series pack.  So I have the pack of DSP in the paper slot and on top of the pack is one of these clear envelopes and all the scraps for that particular DSP pack are in that envelope.  Keeps everyone organized and together.

First Communion Card

I made this card a while ago and it's from an old post, but I know it's communion and confirmation season.  Seemed appropriate to post today.

Throwback Thursday: Embrace Life Birthday Card in a Box

Today's Throwback Thursday project is a "birthday card in a box".  I made this box for a swap many years ago.  The Stampin' Up! Embrace Life stamp set is retired, but you can definitely make this project and substitute with a current stamp set.

Happy Anniversary Personally Yours!

It's hard to believe it's been a year already since I went live with this blog.  So I made this card to celebrate...  I love the 2013-2015 In-Color DSP paper pack...  so pretty.  Hope this inspires you.

Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals: May 20 - 26

Technique Tuesday: Coffee Filter Background

What a cool technique!  I say this all the time, stampers don't throw anything away and they can stamp on anything.  I wonder how someone figured out that you can stamp and ink up a coffee filter for an interesting technique.  Hope this inspires you!!

Color Combo Challenge: Stampin' Up! Happy Watercolor

Today I am introducing a new series on my blog...  "Color Combo Challenge".  At least once a month I will feature a new card with a color combo of the month.  I hope you enjoy the samples and hopefully it will inspire you!

Throwback Thursday: Stamped Silk Scarf

I hope you are enjoying all the Throwback Thursday projects.  I remember when this was the hottest thing on the blogs... stamping on silk scarves.  I still think it's very pretty...  This was a little scarf that you tied onto a purse... very cute.

Father's Day Golf Tee Card

I was playing around and put together some Father's Day card samples.  I've been meaning to try this card.  The one on the left has the Stampin' Up! Decorative Dots embossing folder and the one on the right has the Stripes embossing folder.  Either way they look cute!

Technique Tuesday: Faux Postage Technique

This technique was always one of my favorites.  I created the template for this on the computer by making squares with dotted lines and then I cut them out with my fancy scissors.  I even love the color combination on this one Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pin and Soft Suede.

May Class Projects: Father's Day

Today I am sharing the projects from my monthly stamping class.   The main these was Father's Day... trying to stay ahead of the game.

DSP Gift Bag:  Made these adorable gift bags with Stampin' Up! DSP (Designer Series Paper).  using dark colored DSP makes them perfect for the "masculine" look.

Dimensions:  12 x 6 sheet of DSP, score at 4, 5 1/2, 9 1/2 and 11.

Monthly Coaster Calendar:  July & August

Father's Day Hershey Bar:  Made this using a regular sized envelope

Step 1:  Seal the envelope, cut off one end... cut only a small piece, just enough to create the pocket.

Step 2:  On the opening you just made, make a slit in the front.. aim towards the middle and cut about 1" down

Step 3:  Fold down on each side to create flaps..  your shirt collar

Step 4:  Decorate your shirt collar with DSP paper

Step 5:  Cut out a tie using DSP paper.  When I cut the pattern out of DSP, I cut top part and the bottom part of the tie in different directions to make it look like a tie knot.  See the samples... the top of the tie and the bottom and you will notice the patterns don't line up.  I sponged the edges to give it depth.

Step 6:  I put dimensionsals under the color and added a greeting.... and of course the Hershey Bar.

Giveaway:  Gave one to all the girls who came to class.  I made these using the new Stampin' Up! Banner Framelits.  Good for a Hershey Nuggets or any small candy.

These cards were previously posted, but they were part of my class projects.

Throwback Project: St. Patty's Day Hat

Sharing a fun throwback project for St. Patty's Day from 2017. I made the hat using an empty packing tape roll.
