More Demo Meeting Projects

This was another project from my demonstrator meeting.  We made a lollipop flower using the Stampin' Up! Blossom Flower Punch and Stampin' Up! Spiral Flower Originals Die.  So cute if you make a bunch of these and put them in a flower pot.  Would make adorable center pieces.

Technique Tuesday

This week's Tuesday Technique is the "Faux Cloisonne" Technique.  Basically it's embossing an image on a magazine page... very pretty.

Demo Meeting Projects

It's always a lot of fun when I get together with my demonstrator stamping friends.  This was my project for the meeting.  Thought it would be a nice little Mother's Day card.

Throw Back Thursday - Easel Calendar

This Thursday's "Throw Back" idea is from 2010..yikes!!  I was in an "Easel Card Swap" and instead of a card I decided to make an easel calendar.  This project may be from 2010, but it is still relevant!  I love this color combo:   Stampin' Up! Soft Suede, Razzleberry, Always Artichoke (stamped off) and Pretty in Pink.

Technique Tuesday - Glitter Window

Today's Technique is "Glitter Window".  This is so cute and easy. You really need to see this live to appreciate how pretty it is.  And imagine the possibilities using this technique with the new Festive Flurry framelits from Stampin' Up!

Storing My Retired Stamps

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator it is difficult to part with certain stamp sets, even after they are retired.  I struggled how to store my retired stamps since I don't use them often, but yet I still like to know they are available.

I recently bought these baskets on sale and they work perfectly.  I separated the stamp sets into categories.  These labels allow me to keep them out of sight, but I can easily find the stamp set I need.

Throw Back Thursday - Brag Book

This Thursday's project is another oldie but goodie.  I used to love this DSP paper... it was one of my favorites.  This project was meant to be a "Mother's Day Memory Album" or a "Brag Book".  I made this photo album using Stampin' Up! clear envelopes so you can easily slip in photos (see photo below).

Even though this DSP paper and stamp set are retired, you can replicate this idea with current Stampin' Up! products.  Stampin' Up! still carries the clear envelopes.  Make this in a baby theme and it makes a perfect gift for new mom's.
