Pistachio Pudding Mini Gift Bag

As I was working on some birthday cards I realized I had some bigger pieces of Stampin' Up! In-Color Paper Pack.  So I played around and make this cute mini gift bag.

Dimensions:  Cut Pistachio Pudding DSP 10" x 3 3/4".  Scored on the long side at 1 1/2, 4 3/4, 6 1/4, 9 1/2.  Then turn and score at and 1" which will be the bottom of your gift bag.

Below are pictures of how I made the flower in the front of the gift bag.  I used the Stampin' Up! 7/8" scalloped circle punch.  I punched out 6 circles and crunched them up and then laid them on top of each other switching between the patterns.  Then I put a brad through the middle and curled up the different layers to make the flower.

Stamping with Scraps: Basic Gray

I LOVE the way this "stamping with scraps" card turned out.  The combination of the Basic Gray card stock and the Basic Gray DSP is so simple and elegant.

Triangle Thank Yous

Cute little Triangle Thank Yous filled with dove chocolates.  Cute and easy enough for a class treat for kids.  I gave these out a while ago to my girls who attended my class.

Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board: Bermuda Bay Mini File Folder Card

I'm always amazed at how many different things you can make using the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board.  I've made so many different sized and shaped boxes, folders and envelopes.  I made the little file folder on this card using the punch board.  Love the way it pops against the Stampin' Up! Bermuda Bay card stock.

Decorative Dots embossing folder, Petite Petals stamp set & punch, Tiny Wishes

Folder Measurements:  White card stock piece:  3 1/2 x 2 1/2.  Line up at 2 1/8 and punch.  Now line up the left edge of the paper to the left side of the "punch" and punch (see photo).  Cut straight across the top to leave a tab and give it the folder look.  I hope that makes sense... you may want to play with scraps until you get it right.

Technique Tuesday: Soot Stamping

Today's technique is "Soot Stamping".  This technique is not one of my favorites, but I can see this technique used on a Halloween card to make it extra spooky.  I will have to try it!

Craft Room Inspiration

A friend used to have this hanging in her craft room and it went across most of the wall...  So beautiful and inspiring.  Looking at this every day would get me inspired in my craft room!
