Color Combo Challenge: Flower Shop

For today's "Color Combo Challenge" I am using the Stampin' Up! Flower Shop stamp set in Crisp Cantaloupe.  The DSP paper and Ruffle Ribbon coordinate with the flowers in Crisp Cantaloupe.  Happy Birthday greeting is from the Stampin' Up! set Best Dad Ever.

Stampin' Up! Blooming with Kindness: Pistachio Pudding

This is one of those stamp sets that I can't get enough of...  Stampin' Up! Blooming with Kindness (Item #126422).  No matter what color or designer paper you use, this flower is spectacular.  Definitely a keeper.  These cards were stamped in Pistachio Pudding classic ink (Item #131177) and the DSP is from the Stampin' Up! 2013-2015 In-Color Paper Pack (Item #130136).  Also used Antique Brads (Item #117273) and 5/8" Organza Ribbon (Item #114319).

June Stamping Class: Sneak Peek

This is just a little tease on what's coming up for my June 20 Stamping Class.  It's all about the "Black & White" theme for this class.  I'm very pleased with the projects and can't wait to share them with the girls.

Throwback Thursday: Father's Day Matchbook Album

This Throwback project was from many years ago when I made this as a class project.  I still love the way the DSP paper coordinates and it is so masculine looking but yet still elegant.

Technique Tuesday: Chalk Watercolors

I love this technique and the colors are so pretty together.  Love the way everything blends.  This is a keeper.  I just got inspired to make a card using this technique...  to be continued!

Hope this inspires you!!

Pistachio Pudding Mini Gift Bag

As I was working on some birthday cards I realized I had some bigger pieces of Stampin' Up! In-Color Paper Pack.  So I played around and make this cute mini gift bag.

Dimensions:  Cut Pistachio Pudding DSP 10" x 3 3/4".  Scored on the long side at 1 1/2, 4 3/4, 6 1/4, 9 1/2.  Then turn and score at and 1" which will be the bottom of your gift bag.

Below are pictures of how I made the flower in the front of the gift bag.  I used the Stampin' Up! 7/8" scalloped circle punch.  I punched out 6 circles and crunched them up and then laid them on top of each other switching between the patterns.  Then I put a brad through the middle and curled up the different layers to make the flower.
