Throwback Thursday: Stationery Kit

I went deep into the archives for this little beauty.  I remember when all the Stampin' Up! Demonstrators were making these little stationery kits for their class projects.  If you haven't seen this yet or haven't seen it in a while... basically it's one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock folded in half (5 1/2) and then you fold the bottom up about 1 1/2" to create the pocket for the greeting cards.  Small slit in the middle helps to fold nicely.  I used mini cards for this set.

Throwback Thursday: Post It Note and Tape Dispenser

This is really a "throwback" project.  I used to LOVE this set, Roses in Winter and I wanted to use it on everything.  This is a great idea for a Teacher Gift.  The plastic stand is an acrylic frame laying down and the scotch tape dispenser was altered by simply removing the card board and covering it with the stamped paper.  Cute!

Technique Tuesday: Faux Linen

Faux Linen technique...  it almost looks like an antique/collage technique.  Nice!

Thank You Cards

Made a bunch of these Thank You cards for a friend.  Great way to keep it simple and get rid of your retired Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.

Kid's Birthday Card

Made this cute Kid's Birthday card for a party my 12 year old was attending.  I wanted to use Red and White to match his basketball team colors.

Quick & Pretty Thank You Cards

I needed to make some quick Thank You cards for my mom.  I almost feel bad because they were so quick...  but I guess it doesn't have to be so complicated some times.  Or as we say in my demo stamping group "step away from the card"..
