Craft Room Inspiration...

Some of the things in my craft room that inspire me.  I try to move things around according to the holidays and seasons.  I love looking at all the things we made in my classes or demonstrator meetings.  Very inspiring!

Technique Tuesday: Top Note Technique Cards

Today I am sharing a project from a few years ago.  I went to a demo meeting and we created these cute little Top Note Technique Cards.  It's cute how they all have a cool technique and they store on a binder ring.  Each card has a sample of the technique on the front and then directions on the back.  Clever!

Stampin' Up! Santa Face Card

Saw this on Pinterest and had to try it.  Took a little work figuring out the pieces, and ultimately making it work for me...

Lovely As A Tree Christmas Card

I'm starting to play around with Christmas stamp sets and planning my 12 Weeks of Christmas projects and this was one of the cards I played with.  If you've been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator or customer over the last few years... you now that this stamp set has been around and it withstands the test of time...  Lovely As A Tree.

Throwback Thursday: Magnetic Calendar

Today I am sharing a project I made for a WOW Swap many years back.  Wow, calendar says 2007!   Basically this is Always Artichoke, Basic Black and White card stock layered and I added the sticky calendar pad at the bottom.  You can't tell by the photo, but I used White Shimmer paper and it made this design really stand out beautifully.  The magnet on the back is from a magnetic business card pack.  Once you put this in a cello bag and add ribbon, it's a classy workshop or class gift for your guests.  I hope this inspires you!

Christmas Tree Hanging Box

I found this great idea on a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator's blog..  "Pootles" (Christmas Tree Hanging Bag Tutorial).  She always has clever little box ideas.

This was easy to make with the new Stampin' Up! Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack from the Holiday Mini Catalog (Item #135824 - 4 1/2" x 6 1/2").  You use one sheet for each box.  Simply score 1" on the long side and then score at every 1" on the other side (1, 2, 3, 4").  Hole punch the top and add ribbon and embellishments.

Technique Tuesday: Shaving Cream Technique

I remember when we did this technique at a demo meeting.  It is so messy... but also so beautiful.  If you are going to try this one, my suggestion is to make up a bunch of sheets to keep on hand for when you need a nice background for a card.
