Stampin' Up! Flowering Flourishes... Let's Celebrate

Let's Celebrate...  this is another one of my cards from my January stamping class.  Love the way the flowers stamped in Wisteria Wonder pop against the Wild Wasabi Flowering Flourishes.  Used Flowering Flourishes and Petite Petals stamps sets.

Technique Tuesday: Bargello Technique

This is a technique you don't see often... Bargello Technique.  As I was posting this 6x6 technique card I wondered why it was called "Bargello Technique".  I Googled it...  Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid in a mathematical pattern to create motifs.  The name originates from a series of chairs found in the Bargello Palace in Florence.  I guess that makes sense when you see the pattern.

Paint Chip Inspiration #3: Valentine's Day Card

I made this Valentine's Day card a few years ago for one of my classes.  I used a paint chip and a Stampin' Up! heart Punch.  This is a quick and simple project.
