Stampin' Up! New Catalog / Retiring Items

It's almost time for the new Stampin' Up! Catalog.  When something new comes in, something old has to go.  Lots of great stuff is retiring, make sure you get them before they are gone for good on May 31 (while supplies last).

For a complete list of retired stamps and accessories, click on the "Shop" button on the right and it will take you to my Stampin' Up! store where you will see the tab for "Retired Items".

Thinking of You With a Bloomin Heart

This Bloomin Heart was cut out on white card stock and then I used daubers to color in the heart background with Pear Pizzazz ink.  I applied the ink darker and lighter in certain areas to give it more dimension.  I cut out the flowers with Pool Party card stock.

Blue Rose Garden Anniversary

I made this beautiful Blue Rose Garden Anniversary Card for a friend's anniversary.  Simple and beautiful.

Stampin with Scraps: Black & White Everyday Chic DSP

One of the easiest Stampin with Scraps cards I've made.  I used the Stampin' Up! Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches to punch out these butterflies on Everyday Chic DSP paper.

Bright Flowers are What I Love...

I love bright flowers, especially when they are made with the SAB stamp set What I Love.  I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay for this card.  I was inspired by my previous post on April 11 when I first used these colors.

The Best Is Yet To Come...Fluttering Butterfly

How beautiful is that butterfly!  I made the butterfly using the Butterflies Thinlit dies.

The butterfly is scored in the middle and folded in half.  I put a small piece of Perfectly Artistic DSP paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure behind the butterfly to give it color.  The natural waves of color in the DSP really pops on the black stencil butterfly.

Sale-A-Bration What I love... Love Them in Bright Colors

After making this card in the Bermuda Bay colors I couldn't resist making another one in Daffodil Delight and another one in Melon Mambo.  Love all these colors together.  Reminds me of summer colors.

I made the background by stamping the flower in Bermuda Bay, stamping off on scrap paper and then spritzing the stamp with water before stamping on the white card stock.  I did the same with all 3 colors. Gives the card a nice watercolor effect.  The splatter was done using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

Striped DSP is from the Brights Designer Series Paper pack.
