Brilliant Wings I'm Thinking of You Card

Today's card has a mix of Pretty Peacock, Pool Party and Granny Apple Green.  The butterfly was cut out using the Brilliant Wings Dies and I used Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes to color in the butterfly with Granny Apple Green and Pool Party Inks.  The strip of paper on the left is from Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. I ripped the paper on one side for more texture.

• Pretty Peacock Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4" - embossed with Pained Texture 3 D Embossing Folder

Black & White With A Little Calypso Coral

This card is all black and white except for a little strip colored in with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Blends.  All the strips were scraps from True Love Designer Series Paper and measure about 1/2" wide.

Details: 

• Arrange the scraps on a 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of White Cardstock
• Glue down your pieces and turn it over to cut off the excess
• Layer onto a 5" x 4" piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock
• Layer on top of Black Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
• The "Kindness is Always in Style" sentiment is from the Dressed  to Impress Stamp Set

 

Triangles Dies Asymmetrical Card

Today's post is a fun "asymmetrical" card using the Stitched Triangles Dies.  I mixed and matched Basic Gray Cardstock, Pool Party Cardstock and Smoky Slate Cardstock, along with a piece of Melon Mambo Designer Series Paper.  I think the colors look great together.

Details:

• White Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2"
• Smoky Slate Cardstock layer:  5" x 3 3/4"
• Triangles were cut out using the Stitched Triangles Dies..  the Smoky Slate and Pool Party pieces were embossed using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder
• The "I'm thinking of you" sentiment is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set

Happy Mother's Day Timeless Tulip Card

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!  I used the Timeless Tulip Stamp Set to create this pretty Mother's Day Card.  I love the way the Melon Mambo tulip looks against the True Love Designer Series Paper piece and the Smoky Slate Cardstock card base.

• True Love Designer Series Paper strip:  5" x 2"
• Melon Mambo Cardstock layer was cut out using Stitched So Sweetly Dies
• Tulip from Timeless Tulip Stamp Set was stamped in Melon Mambo Ink and Granny Apple Green Ink
• Inside card sheet:  5 1/4" x 4" - stamped with a small tulip in Melon Mambo Ink
• The "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment is from the Timeless Tulip Stamp Set

Another beautiful card using True Love Designer Series Paper.  I'm obsessed with this paper.  I used Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Smoky Slate Stampin' Up! Blends to color in the flowers and paper background.  Stampin' Blends are so smooth and make it so easy to create a piece of art.
