Celebrate the Season with Stampin' Up! Christmas Season Bundle

The beauty of Stampin' Up! Christmas Season Stamp Set is the layering.  For this Merry Christmas card, it's all about the layering of the different shades of green (Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen) with a traditional look of pinecones (Crumb Cake, Soft Suede) and red berries (Real Red).

Card Details:
  • Soft Succulent Cardstock card base:  4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
  • White Cardstock layer:  5-1/4" x 4"
  • On the White Cardstock layer I first stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.  Then I added the berries stamping the stems in Soft Suede and the berries in Real red.  The splatter dots were stamped in Old Olive and Crumb Cake
  • After stamping everything, I ran the stamped White Cardstock layer through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to give it depth and texture
  • The pinecones were stamped separately using Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Inks and then popped up on the card
  • The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set in the Holiday Catalog.  I used a Versamark Pad to stamp the greeting on Black Cardstock and then emboss with White Embossing Powder

Dressed To Impress in Polished Pink

Today's "hello fabulous" birthday card is actually cased from my previous post on August 13.  I changed up the colors for a friend who loves everything PINK.  I used Polished Pink and Smoky Slate colors with Dressed To Impress Stamp Set.

  • Smoky Slate Cardstock card base:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
  • Polished Pink Cardstock:  4-1/4" x 3-1/4"
  • White Cardstock:  4-1/4" x 3-1/4", embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
  • I stamped the flowers, perfume bottle and shoes in Black Memento Ink and colored in using Polished Pink, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Blends

Original card posted on August 13, 2021 using Dressed To Impress Stamp Set and Pool Party and Smoky Slate.

Stationery Holder Hostess Customer Gift

I'm sharing something special today...a hostess gift for a customer.  This stationery holder is a throwback project.  I used one sheet of Pool Party Cardstock to create the stationery holder which holds three thank you cards and envelopes.  The Pool Party Cardstock looks amazing against the black and white leaf pattern from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.  Cards were all created using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.  More details on the cards and the stationery holder below.

Card Details:
  • White Cardstock card base:  4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
  • Pattern Party DSP (2 pieces):  5-1/2" x 3/8" (black & white strip), 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" (Granny Apple, Misty Moonlight and Crushed Curry)
  • Sunflower from Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set is stamped in Basic Gray Ink
  • The "Thanks a Bunch" sentiment from Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set was stamped with Versamark Ink on Black Cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Powder

Stationery Holder Details:
  • Pool Party Cardstock - stationery holder:  10-1/4" x 8-1/2"
  • Scored with 8-1/2" side at the top at 6"
  • Scored with 10-1./4" side at the top at 5", 5-1/4"
  • See score lines below and how I trimmed the sides and center
  • Pattern Party DSP on the front:  4-3/4" x 5-3/4"
