Stampin' Up! Happy Valentine's Day Hearts

Happy Valentine's Day with Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper from the new Mini Catalog.  I layered the designer series paper with different designs and cut out the hearts from one of the designer series papers.

Card Details:

• White Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", 5 1/2"
• Sweet Talk DSP:  5 1/4" x 4"
• Sweet Talk DSP strip":  2 1/4" x 4"
• The "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment if from a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit.. stamped in Versamark Ink on Black Cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Powder

 

 

Simply Amazing Card With Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper

Today's card is simply amazing with the new Flowering Fields 12x12 Designer Series Paper from the new Mini Catalog.  You won't want to miss the fresh florals of this DSP.  You'll find an abundance of color with gouache hand-painted tulips and contemporary patterns. I used the tulip design on the front and used the reverse abstract design on the back. I layered them both on Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base.

• Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• Flowering Fields layer:  5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock strip:  5" x 2 1/4"
• Flowering Fields strip:  2" x 4 3/4"
• The "Just a card to say you're Amazing" sentiment is from the Special Moments Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set 

 

 

Sweet Saturday Hand-Penned Thank You Card

I used Vellum Cardstock with Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper to create this sweet Thank You card.  I punched out the heart using the Heart Punch Pack and embossed the heart using the Pretty Flowers 3D Embossing Folder to give it some depth.  The Stitched Rectangles Dies give the Hand-Penned DSP piece a nice stitched edge.

Card Details:

• First start off with your White Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• Then add your Vellum Cardstock:  5" x 3 3/4" - to secure the vellum and not show any glue I used MultiPurpose Liquid Glue in the center which is hidden by the Hand-Penned DSP piece
• Cut a small piece of Hand-Penned DSP using the  Stitched Rectangle Dies - the cut piece approximately measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"
• To add a little cut trim, I cut a piece of White Cardstock scallop edge using the die from Penned Flowers Dies 
• The DSP, Heart and Thanks sentiment are all popped up with Dimensionals
• The "Thanks" sentiment is from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set - stamped with Black Memento Ink on Highland Heather Cardstock

 

Stampin' With Scraps With Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper

Today's stampin with scraps Happy Valentine's Day card was made using Sweet Talk 12x12 Designer Series Paper.  The strips measure 2 3/4" x 1/2" and 2 3/4" x 1/4".  The paper strips pop against the White Cardstock which I embossed with the Dotty Hearts Embossing Folders.  The "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment is fro a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit.

• Black Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock layer:  5" x 3 1/4", embossed with Dotty Hearts Embossing Folders
• Sweet Talk DSP:  2 3/4" x 1/2" and 2 3/4" x 1/4"
