Happy Birthday with Stampin' Up! Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper

I love the way these cards turned out and I love the new Flowering Fields 12x12 Designer Series Paper.  I keep calling it the "tulip paper" from the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog.  You won't want to miss the fresh florals of this designer series paper with hand-painted tulips and contemporary patterns.   I layered the cards with So Saffron Cardstock and Pool Party Cardstock and I embossed a layer of the same colored cardstock and embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

• So Saffron and Pool Party Cardstock layer:  5" x 3 3/4" - embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder

• The "Happy Birthday"sentiment is from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set - stamped in Black Memento Ink on Mango Melody and Poppy Parade Cardstock

Stampin' Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set With White Wash Technique

I tried the White Wash Technique on this card using the Calming Camellia Host Stamp Set which is a new Hostess stamp set featured in the NEW Sale-A-Bration brochure.  This is a distinctive stamp set which has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images.  

I cut out the scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Contour Dies and stamped the Camellia flower image in Soft Succulent Ink and highlighted the flowers with a Water Painter and White Craft Ink Pad.

Card Details:

• Soft Succulent Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
• Soft Succulent Cardstock layer:  5 1/4" x 4" - embossed with Pretty Flowers 3D Embossing Folder
• The "You're in my thoughts today" sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink and cut out using Layering Circle Dies

 

Conversation Hearts Candy With Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper

Today I have a fun Happy Valentine's Day treat to share.  I found these cute Brach's Conversation Hearts at Walmart and wrapped them in Stampin' Up! Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.  I added a "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment which was from a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Measurements based on candy box size.  Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" x 6" and 2" x 6" and hearts were cut out from DSP.
