Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper Butterfly Card

I sort of created this card by accident.   I cut out the Butterfly using Brilliant Wings Dies and Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper.  After I cut out the butterfly, the reverse side of the DSP had such nice contrast that I decided to use it as the background for the butterfly.  The abstract colors in the Flowering Fields DSP background pick up the colors in the butterfly and make it pop.

Card Details:

• Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock:  4 1/8" x 3 1/8"
• The "Happy Birthday" sentiments is from he Art Gallery Stamp Set
• Flowering Fields DSP:  3 3/4" x 2 3/4" - popped up with Dimensionals on the White Cardstock piece

 

Stampin With Scraps: Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper

Today's stampin with scraps card was made with Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper scraps and Blushing Bride Cardstock.  This stampin with scraps card can be made with any designer series paper or cardstock.

Card Details:

• Blushing Bride Cardsstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock layer:  5" x 3 3/4"
• Hand-Penned DSP pieces:  3 1/2" x 1 1/2"
• The "Just a Note" sentiment is from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set

Cased Brilliant Wings Happy Birthday Card

Sharing some Happy Birthday cards I made using the Host Pattern Party Designer Series Paper and the Brilliant Wings Dies.  I love when I can case my own blog posts for card ideas.  I used Pacific Point Cardstock and Daffodil Delight Cardstock for these cards.  You can see the originally posted card from January 6 using Positively Pink Cardstock.

Card Details:

• White Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• Pattern Party DSP:  5 1/4" x 4"
• White Cardstock circle layered with Basic Black Cardstock scallop - both cut using Layering Circles Framelits Dies
• Butterflies were cut using Brilliant Wings Dies and Pacific Point Cardstock and Daffodil Delight Ccardstock
• The "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set is stamped in Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder on Black Cardstock

Simple & Beautiful Cards Made With Artistically Inked Bundle

I made both of these simply beautiful cards using the Artistically Inked Bundle which includes the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and Artistic Dies. I used Misty Moonlight Ink on the "thanks" card and Pool Party Ink on the "Happy Birthday" card.  The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I love the simple look of White Embossed Cardstock layered on White Cardstock card base.  I used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder for the backgrounds.

• White Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White Cardstock layer embossed:   5 1/4" x 4"
• The "thanks" and "Happy Birthday" sentiment are from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set - stamped with Versamark Ink on Black Cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Powder

I was so happy with the way these cards turned out, I made a bunch more in different colors... Crushed Curry, Highland Heather and Calypso Coral Inks.  I left off the greetings so I can add them as needed.  These make a great addition to my card collection.
