Just a Note with Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper

For Today's "Just a Note" card I used the Favored Flowers 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with any $50 purchases.  I used Fresh Freesia Cardstock and Blackberry Bliss Cardstock for accents.  I colored in the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon with Fresh Freesia Blends.

Card Details:

• Fresh Freesia Cardstock:  4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2"
• Blackberry Bliss Cardstock:  5 1/4" x 4"
• Favored Flowers DSP:  5" x 2 1/2" and 5" x 1 1/4"
• The "Just a Note" sentiment from Go To Greeting Stamp Set is stamped in Black Memento Ink on Fresh Freesia Cardstock and cut out with Stylish Shapes Dies

I love the colors in the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper... especially the Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen and Petal Pink.  I used the front of the DSP for the big panel and the reverse side for DSP strip on this card.  You can get this paper for FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.

• Petal Pink Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Black Cardstock:  5 1/4" x 4"
• Favored Flowers DSP:  5" x 1" and 5" x 2 3/4"
• The "Happy Birthday" sentiment from Go To Greeting Stamp Set is stamped in Black Memento Ink on Petal Pink Cardstock and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies

 

 

Looking Back at Forever Flourishing Dies

A "sending hugs" card using Highland Heather Soft Subtles Designer Series Paper and Forever Flourishing Dies.  It is nice to look back at some favorites.

Card Details:

• Highland Heather Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Highland Heather DSP:  5 1/4" x 4" - ripped on one side
• Leaves are cut out using Forever Flourishing Dies and White Cardstock and Soft Seafood Cardstock
• The "Sending Hugs" sentiment is from the Eden's Garden Stamp Set

Casing the Catty: Color & Contour Sample Page 96

I cased this card from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog featuring the sample card using the Color & Contour Stamp Set and coordinating Scalloped Contours Dies on page 96.

Card Details:

• Pear Pizzazz Cardstock card base:  4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
• Vellum Cardstock:  5 1/4" x 4"
• Stamped the flower using the Color & Contour Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink and colored in using Melon Mambo Ink and Soft Sea Foam Blends on White Cardstock
• Cut out the White Cardstock and a piece of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock using the Scalloped Contours Dies - then cut them into 3 pieces
