Let's Go Fishing Happy Birthday Card

Happy Birthday... the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper is so pretty.  I love the colors and how this pattern looks like water.  I paired the DSP by choosing Night of Navy Cardstock and Boho Blue Cardstock. I wrapped Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon around the Boho Blue layer and then made a small knot using White Baker's Twine.

Card Details:

• Night of Navy Cardstock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
• Boho Blue Cardstock layer: 5 1/4" x 4" - embossed with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder
• Let's Go Fishing DSP: 5" x 2"
• The "Happy Birthday" sentiment from Go To Greetings Stamp Set is stamped in Night of Navy Ink on White Cardstock and die-cut using Something Fancy Dies
• I cut this cute fish directly from the Let's Go Fishing DSP

 

 

Stampin' Up! Inked & Tiled Stamp Set with Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper

For today's Happy Birthday card I combined the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set with the Inked Botanicals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. I stamped the leaves in Lost Lagoon Ink to coordinate with the DSP.

Card Details:

• Lost Lagoon Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
• Inked Botanicals DSP: 5 1/4" x 4"
• Lost Lagoon Cardstock: 4" x 2 3/4"
• White Cardstock layer: 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" - stamped leaves from the Tiled Stamp Set in Lost Lagoon Ink - leaf is stamped direct and stamped off 
• Stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment in Versamark Ink on Lost Lagoon Cardstock and die-cut using the Stylish Shapes dies
• Embellished with White Baker's Twine

 

Stampin' Up! Fractured Technique

This was my try at a Fractured Technique Card using the Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Dies and Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper.

Card Details:

• Black Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
• Bubble Bath Cardstock layer: 5 1/4" x 4", embossed with Basics 3D Embossing Folder - Crosshatch Design
• Black Cardstock strips: 4 strips measuring 1/4" x 6" and then trimmed
• Fresh As A Daisy DSP: square piece 2 1/4"

 

 

Happy Birthday - Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper

Getting out of my comfort zone with today's Happy Birthday card.  I used the Stampin' Up! Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper on this card and I cut the fishes directly from the DSP and popped them up with Dimensionals.

Card Details:

• Wild Wheat Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
• Let's Go Fishing DSP: 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" and 1/2" x 5 1/4"
• Very Vanilla Carsick: 5 1/4" x 4"
• The "happy birthday" sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set is stamped in Black Memento Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and trimmed
• I ran the Tan Baker's Twine over Wild Wheat Ink Pad to color the twine
