Today's card is a throw back technique. If you are looking for a new stamping technique to try, the Spotlighting Technique is a great way to highlight your detailed stamp images without having to color in the whole thing. I used Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set for this card.
Card Details:
- Polished Pink Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Polished Pink Cardstock layer: 5 1/4" x 4" - embossed with Pretty Flowers 3D Embossing Folder
- Stamped the flower in Black Memento Ink on a piece of White Cardstock and cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies
- Stamp a second flower on a piece of White Cardstock and cut out a small piece using a small circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies
- Color in the flower - I used Polished Pink and Soft Succulent Blends
- Line up your circle image with the image stamped on the background and pop up in place
