Another Sneak Peak...

Another sneak peak at one of the projects for my January stamping class.

Throw Back Thursday - Half Circle Box

It's amazing how "what's old is new again".  I often rotate the projects displayed in my craft room to make room for new ideas.  I store my old projects in Rubbermaid bins... I can't part with them.  I came across several bins full of old projects from past meetings and classes and I found them so inspiring even after all this time.

So I decided to start "Throw Back Thursdays".  Every Thursday I will feature a project from the past.  As you can see with this box... the Stampin' Up! DSP paper and the stamp set are retired, but this box can easily be replicated with current Stampin' Up! products.  And now we have so many new embellishments... I would have definitely added more bling to this one!  Hope this inspires you!

Greeting Card Organizer

This is how I organize my greeting cards.  I have tons of cards on display in my craft room, but these are different.  These are the card I to send to people.  Every time I do a class or join a swap I always seem to have an extra cards leftover so I put it in my card organizer.  Now when I need a card for a birthday, anniversary or sympathy, I go right to my card file.

I have the box organized by categories to make it easier.... Female, Male, Mother, Anniversary, etc.  I also have a section in the back called "Pieces".  This is where I store extra pieces from cards I made.  Let's say you need an anniversary card but don't see one you like.. I can go into my pieces file and find a flower left over from a swap.  I layer it, put it on card stock, add greeting and WALLA! an Anniversary card.

Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals

Technique Tuesday - Bandana

This week's technique is the Bandana Technique.  What's great about these 6x6 techniques is that even if the stamp set is retired, you can still replicate with any current Stampin' Up! stamp set.

Note Cube Template

Below is the template for the Note / Post-It Note Cube I posted yesterday.  It's a cute and simple pattern that can work with any Stampin' Up! card stock or DSP.  Enjoy.

Playing around...

I found the template to this adorable little note holder in my papers.  I can't even remember where I got it or when... I've been meaning to try it and started playing around. I think it came out very cute and it was simple to make.  I will post directions tomorrow for anyone who wants to try it.
