Hydrangea Gift Bag

Today I am sharing this cute, but elegant mini gift bag.  I have so many of these little bags and every once in a while I love taking them out and making a gift bag.  Perfect for a small gift or gift card.

Throw Back Thursday Project

Today's Thursday Throwback project is from an old Stampin' Up! Fall Fest meeting.  This project was made with chipboard albums Stampin' Up! used to sell.  You could probably replicate this project using the new Stampin' Up! Heart Framelits.  I love the way the paper and the colors give this an antique, but elegant look.

The side view show how we made the frame stand by using the Stampin' Up! Top Note Die.

Stampin' Up! Easter Egg Mini Box

This is another of my March stamping class projects.  This little box holds 1 Cadbury Chocolate Egg.  The box is made using one piece of 6 x 6 DSP paper.  The little chick is made using the Stampin' Up! Bird Builder Punch (# 117191). Instructions and details are below.

  • Cut one piece of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
  • Score at 2" and 4" and turn and score again at 2" and 4"
  • Cut up to the score lines on only 2 sides as seen in the photo (cut up on one side and then the opposite side)
  • Adhere the box on one side and leave the other side open
  • Fold down the middle panel, this makes the base more sturdy
  • Fold down the side panels... this is where you will tuck in your chick

Technique Tuesday

Today's featured Technique Tuesday sample is the Brayered Rose Technique.  This technique would work great with any Stampin' Up! Embossing Folder.  This would make a very pretty Mother's Day card.

How to Organize Stampin' Up! Framelits

Today I am sharing how I organize and store my Stampin' Up Framelits.  I like to store my framelits in the Stampin' Up! Clear Mount Stamp Cases (#119105).  I created this template in Powerpoint.  Outside the case I put a picture of the framelit with the name and I did the same on the side panel.

I plan to perfect the template and make it available for purchase.  More details to come.

Inside the clear mount stamp case I adhered Magnet Sheets to hold the framelits in place.  I purchased the sheets from Staples and they come in a paper pack.  I think they are Printable magnetic sheets so they are thin.  I cut the sheets to measure 5 x 7 and glued them down using red sticky tape.  They fit perfectly in the cases.  The magnetic sheets are so thin I was able to cut them using my paper cutter.

Stampin' Up! Calendars

If you have been following my blog, you know as part of my class projects, we have a coaster calendar series going.  These are the coasters we made for March and April.

Throw Back Thursday

For this week's Throw Back Thursday sample, I am sharing a project I made as a WOW Swap for one of my demonstrator meetings.  I created the template from a box I received with chocolates inside.  I will post the template over the weekend.  Inside the box I stacked up Hershey Chocolate Kisses.  Enjoy!
