Stampin' Up! Fabulous Florets

Today I am sharing this birthday card I made.  It fun when I have an opportunity to just play with stamps and paper and see what I can come up with.  I Love the way the Early Espresso and the Pistachio colors look together.  It all blends and yet pops at the same time.

Stampin' Up! Throw Back Thursday

Cake Box Favors.. this is definitely a throw back project.  I think I made this in my early stamping days.  But it still looks pretty and it would make an awesome favor for a shower or wedding...  especially if you line up all the boxes and layer them like a cake.  Simply gorgeous.

Stampin' Up! Cards - Simply Sketched

Had a little free time this weekend and had some fun playing around with the Stampin' Up! Hostess Set Simply Sketched.  I can't get enough of that flower!!

Technique Tuesday

This week's Technique Tuesday sample is the Lattice Technique.  I love how this 6x6 came out... the lattice is the featured idea, but the flowers and the colors make everything pop.

Hydrangea Gift Bag

Today I am sharing this cute, but elegant mini gift bag.  I have so many of these little bags and every once in a while I love taking them out and making a gift bag.  Perfect for a small gift or gift card.

Throw Back Thursday Project

Today's Thursday Throwback project is from an old Stampin' Up! Fall Fest meeting.  This project was made with chipboard albums Stampin' Up! used to sell.  You could probably replicate this project using the new Stampin' Up! Heart Framelits.  I love the way the paper and the colors give this an antique, but elegant look.

The side view show how we made the frame stand by using the Stampin' Up! Top Note Die.

Stampin' Up! Easter Egg Mini Box

This is another of my March stamping class projects.  This little box holds 1 Cadbury Chocolate Egg.  The box is made using one piece of 6 x 6 DSP paper.  The little chick is made using the Stampin' Up! Bird Builder Punch (# 117191). Instructions and details are below.

  • Cut one piece of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
  • Score at 2" and 4" and turn and score again at 2" and 4"
  • Cut up to the score lines on only 2 sides as seen in the photo (cut up on one side and then the opposite side)
  • Adhere the box on one side and leave the other side open
  • Fold down the middle panel, this makes the base more sturdy
  • Fold down the side panels... this is where you will tuck in your chick
