Storing Extra Stamping Scrap Pieces

When I stamp or prepare for a class, there seems to be extra pieces left over.  I hate to throw them out in case I need them for a future project.  So I store them in these little Stampin' Up! plastic containers.  They are perfect for little flowers, little punched pieces, greetings, etc.

When I use butterflies a lot... especially the Stampin' Up! Butterflies die cut and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits.  There are always extra pieces and I store them in these Stampin' Up! Acrylic Cases.  It's perfect...when I need a butterfly or a snowflake, I just grab my case and look for the butterfly I need.

Blooming with Kindness Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend's birthday.  She loves the combo of navy blue and white together and I think this card came out so lovely.  Simple and elegant.

4th of July Cards

In the spirit of 4th of July, I thought I would share some of the 4th of July cards I have in my "card file".  As you can see, even if they are red, white and blue... it doesn't mean it has to be a 4th of July card, it can be a birthday card!  Hope these inspire you.

Technique Tuesday: Marble Background

This technique looks so cool... it actually looks like marble.   Where do we come up with this stuff?  I don't know, but I like it..  This would be nice for the background on a "masculine" card.
