Paint Chip Inspiration #29: Rose Garden Thinlit

How simple is this beautiful card.  A paint chip + the Rose Garden Thinlit = a beautiful card.  The best part is this card would look great with any color paint chip.  I love the way the rose pops on the color.

Simplicity with Rose Garden Thinlit

Simplicity is a great way to descibe this card...  simple leaves and simple color... but it equals a really pretty card.  I used The Rose Garden thinlit for the leaves and greeting and the paper is from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack in the Occasions Mini.

MORE Weekly Deals!

STAMPIN’ UP! ANNOUNCED that they will be ending weekly deals after Monday, April 18. Instead, they will focus on bigger sales (more products offered) every few months. This gives customers more choices, more discounts and more reasons to order and save!  It avoids the minimum shipping costs that often made buying one or two items from a small number of weekly deals not feasible.

LOTS MORE PRODUCTS ON SALE THIS WEEK!  The new Weekly Deals can be viewed by going to the "Weekly Deals" link on my blog.

Easel Calendar

This is a closer look at the Easel Calendar from my March stampin class. Dimensions are the same as a regular card... 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  The bottom was made using the Decorative Label punch.

The strip to hold the easel together is a piece of Crumb Cake strip about 1" by 5" and folded in half and then fold the 2 ends in half again.

Stampin' Up! Build A Birthday With Washi Tape

I am trying to use other embellishments in my craft room and I can't remember the last time I used Washi Tape.  So here is a card using washi tape... the girls got to make this card in my March Stampin Class.  Love the way this came out with the matching birthday candles.  I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set Build A Birthday for the candles and the greeting.

I wanted a small bow but couldn't find the right ribbon to go with this card.  So I created a small bow using the small oval punch and a small circle punch.  Hope this inspires you.

Washi Tape Easter Eggs

Made these fun and pretty Easter Egg Cards in seconds using Stampin' Up! Washi Tape.  The eggs are made from leftover chipboard coaster pieces from a previous project (the center of the chipboard magnetic frame posted March 14).  I wrapped the chipboard with washi tape and done.
