Technique Tuesday: Bubble Wrap

I have a fun and easy technique to show you today.  I used the Bubble Wrap technique on these cards. The flower was cut out using Swirly Scribbles Thinlit and Melon Mambo and Old Olive card stock.  Used bubble wrap on Old Olive ink to create background.

This card was also made with bubble wrap and Old Olive and Pool Party Ink.  I used the new in-color Dapper Denim card stock and ribbon for accent colors.

Cut a strip of bubble wrap and place over ink pad and light tap down.  Remove the bubble wrap and lay on your card stock and gently tap down...  the more pressure you use, the darker the ink color.

Stampin' Up! 2016-2018 In Colors

Did I mention how much I love the new 2016-2018 Stampin' Up! In Colors.  What a great combination of new colors!

Ode to Mossy Meadow In Color

Mossy Meadow is one of the in colors on their way out with the new Stampin' Up! catalog coming. So I couldn't resist using my Mossy Meadow Designer Series paper pack scraps to make this patchwork card.

The greeting is from Cottage Greetings stamp set and the flower is from the Flower Shop stamp set.  Mossy Meadow ink and DSP paper pack.

Stampin With Scraps: Swirly Scribbles in Emerald Envy

Can you tell how I made the Emerald Envy panel below?

I had to cut out a bunch of leaves for a swap using the leaf from the Swirly Scribbles die cut.  I don't like to waste any paper so I cut out the leaves in all kinds of direction.  I was left with the negative strip.  The piece of Emerald Envy card stock looked too pretty to throw away.

Congrats Masculine Style: Lovely As a Tree

Sharing a card I made for a co-worker.  Lovely as a tree is perfect for that masculine style we some times need.  I stamped the trees in black ink and then sponged the bottom of the trees using Old Olive ink pad and the top of the trees with Marina Mist ink pad.
