February Stampin Class Projects

These are all the projects from my February class.  I usually give all the girls a little chocolate treat as a thank you for coming to class.  But for this class I gave them all a little notebook I made.

Black & White Monday: Card #7 - Butterfly Gala in Calypso Coral

I'm obsessed with the Butterfly Gala stamp set and the coordinating Duet Butterfly Punch.  I want to add a butterfly to every card.  I used Calypso Coral to color in this butterfly. This card was easy with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration.  It's not to late to get this paper for free with your $50 purchase.

Thanks Floral Romance Card

This is one of those simple cards.  No stamping involved... just Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper, Butterfly Beauty and Well Written Thinlits.

Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gift Box

I love to make boxes for my co-workers.  They get so excited when they get a little box with candy on their desks.  I used Grapefruit Grove cardstock and coordinating Gingham Designer Series Paper and Organdy Ribbon.  I punched out the butterfly from the Sale-A-Bration Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Paper and the Duet Butterfly Punch.

Dimensions:  Cut a piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock measuring 4-1/4" x 10-1/2".  You get two boxes from one 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of cardstock.  Score on the long side at 3-1/2", 5", 8-1/2", 10" and score on the short side at 1".  Burnish your score lines and assemble.

Butterfly Beauty in Grapefruit Grove & Black

Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies cut out in any cardstock color would look amazing.  I used Grapefruit Grove and Black cardstock for this card.  The Swirls and Curls Textured Embossing Folder gives dimension to the background.

Incredible Like You - Lovely Lipstick

For this So Glad We Are Friends card I used the new Incredible Like You stamp set.  The flowers and leaves are stamped in Lovely Lipstick and Old Olive.  The butterfly is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set which I stamped in Pineapple Punch ink and punched out with the Duet Butterfly Punch.

Happy Day Daisy Punch

The simplicity of the background designer series paper on this card is from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  It looks wonderful against the simple white daisy flower.  The main layer on this card is Gorgeous Grape cardstock layered with White cardstock.
