Sunflower Hostess Gift Set

How pretty is this hostess gift?  I made both the card and the candy box using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and the coordinating Sunflowers Dies.  I colored in the sunflowers using Calypso Coral Blends -- I used the light and the dark blends to give it a 3D look.  For the center of the sunflower, I used Soft Suede Blends and Old Olive Blends for the leaves.

Card Details:

• Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
• White Cardstock:  3-1/2" x 5-1/2"
• Soft Sea Foam 6x6 DSP:  3-1/4" x 5-1/2"
• The "Thanks a bunch" sentiment is from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.. stamped in Black Memento and trimmed

  

Box Details:

• Pear Pizzazz Cardstock:  4-1/2" x 11", scored on the 4-1/2" side at 3" and scored on the 11" side at 3-1/4", 5-1/4", 8-1/2" and 10-1/2"
• Ran the cardstock through the Embossing and Cutting Machine with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder

 

CELEBRATE in White and Gold

CELEBRATE!  Today's card features the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder and the Sunflowers Dies.  I love the simple elegance of the White Cardstock with the Gold Foil.

Happy Halloween with Cute Halloween 6x6 Designer Series Paper

I am not that big on Halloween cards but how cute is this card!  I made this card using the Cute Halloween 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and the Layering Circles Dies.  I cut four circles with the Circle Dies and the DSP.  Circles measure approximately 1-3/8", 2" and 2-1/4".  I sponged around each circle using the Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes with Smoky Slate Ink.

• Black Cardstock card base:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
• Smoky Slate Cardstock:  5-1/4" x 4"
• White Cardstock:  5" x 3-3/4"
• The "Happy Halloween" sentiment is from the September 2021 Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit
• The Smoky Slate circle was cut out, ran through the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder

 

A Little Sunflower to Brighten Your Day

I love the way this card turned out.  I used the Sunflowers Dies with the Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper to create this stunning sunflower.  The DSP has so many beautiful designs with specks of gold...  you could make this card in so many variations.  I made this for special friend's birthday.

Card Details:

• White Cardstock card Base:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
• White Cardstock layer:  5-1/4" x 4" - embossed using the Greenery Embossing Folder.  I embossed on one end only so I would have room for my "Let's Celebrate You" sentiment
• First I cut out the sunflower and leaves in White Cardstock for the top layer using the stencil-like die
• Secondly, I cut out the bottom layer of the sunflower using the Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper with the outline dies
• The "Let's Celebrate You" sentiment is from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set - I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink
