Give all your paper crafting projects a natural feel with the Inked Botanicals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. Handcrafted by artists, this paper was designed by pressing hand-inked flowers onto the paper, giving it a beautiful textured, artistic effect. I used Inked Botanicals DSP paper strips to create this "just a note" card.

For today's masculine birthday card, I am definitely going out of my comfort zone. I used the new Let's Go Fishing 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.  This paper is the "reel" deal for crafters who love to fish and people who need a fishing themed card.  The paper is filled with images of fish, nets, fishing lures and planks.  Great for masculine themed cards.

Card Details:

• Pebbled Path Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
• Very Vanilla Cardstock: 5 1/4" x 4"
• Let's Go Fishing DSP 3 pieces: 5" x 1 3/8", 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" and 3" x 1 7/8"
• Very Vanilla Cardstock with Happy Birthday sentiment:  2 3/4" x 1 1/2", layered with Pebbled Path Cardstock 3" x 1 3/4"

Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper Color-Blocking Card

One of my favorite things to do with designer series paper is to create blocks of color.  The Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper is perfect for color-blocking with the daisy pattern on one side and the more neutral pattern on the reverse.

 

Card Details:

• Moody Mauve Cardstock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
• White Cardstock: 4 1/2" x 3 3/4"
• DSP measurements and details below..

Designer Series Paper Instructions:

• I cut 2 pieces of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper measuring 4" x 3 1/2"
• First I layered the DSP paper one with the daisies up and one with the neutral reverse side up and then cut them together at the same time
• No particular way to cut, just on an angle
• I then switched and mixed up the DSP alternating daisies and the reverse pattern
• You can make 2 cards with the DSP pieces
