Class Sneak Peak..

More sneak peaks at what I'm planning for my class projects this Friday...

Fall Fest Stampin' Up! Event

Yesterday we had our 2013 Fall Fest event.  This is an event that is open to all the demonstrators in my Stampin' Up! group.  It was so much fun and so inspiring.  We had a WOW Swap, regular card swaps, make and takes, tons of displays, door prizes and lots of brainstorming on ideas and best practices.

This is my WOW swap - a T-light Box using Stampin' Up! White Frost Specialty DSP.  The sold cardstock used was either Bermuda Bay or Island Indigo.

For the meeting swap I made a Sunburst card using Stampin' Up! Modern Medley 12x12 DSP.

These are some of the other WOW Swaps from my friend Laura Davis and Lilly Ruiz.  Laura made this awesome origami box using Stampin' Up! Modern Medley DSP.  And Lilly made this gorgeous ornament using Stampin' Up! White Frost Specialty DSP.

Craft Room Organizing Tips..

I'm glad to hear that people like when I post my organizing tips..  Below are some of the ways I organize my Stampin' Up! supplies and tools.  Enjoy!

This is how I store my Stampin' Up! Framelits.  I like to use the Stampin' Up! Clear DVD cases.  I keep them organized with magnetic sheets.  I cut the sheets down to size and glued them to the inside of the case... this keeps the framelits from falling and getting all mixed up and sloppy.

I'm re-posting this one... this is how I store my Clearmount Stamps. If you notice on the left -side, I also have some of my wood stamps in the new Stampin' Up! Clear Woodmount Cases.  This is a new item from Stampin' Up! in this year's catalog.  I used a template for the insert and I copied an image of the stamp set off the internet.  Click on the link for more information and to download the template.

And finally... this is how I store my Stampin' Up! die cuts.  I put all new labels on my die cuts because I found it hard to read the small print.

Hope you enjoy these tips...  more to come.

September Class Sneak Peak

I've already started working on my projects for my next class. My next monthly class will be on Friday, Sept 13 and I have a Stamp-A-Stack Class on Friday, Sept 27.

This is a sneak peak of a swap I am doing for my Fall Fest meeting this Saturday.  I think it turned out really nice... so nice that I am going to make it one of my projects this month. I will post more pictures and step by step instructions on how to make this Starburst Card.

Introducing the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board

#133774     Envelope Punch Board     $19.95

  • It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!
  • It’s super easy to use - It looks intimidating at first glance, but when you see that all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score you’ll go crazy (in a good way).
  • It’s small and lightweight - It’s small and light enough that you could use it while watching a soccer match, at a park, at a friend’s for craft night-anywhere.
  • It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.
  • It’s easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won’t lose them!).
  • The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much!
