Birthday Cake Card

I made this card for a class, but I'm thinking it would be great for a sweet 16 birthday card and of course a wedding card.

I made the cake by cutting a piece of white card stock, can't remember the exact size, but 5 x 3 3/4 should be good.  I ran the sheet through an embossing folder.  Then I cut 3 strips of paper and then I cut them in stacks, rounded the corners.  The bottom part of the cake I used the Stampin' Up! Scallop Trim Border Punch.

Technique Tuesday: Scratch & Sniff Technique

It's been a while since I posted something..  some times life gets in the way.

Today I am sharing the Scratch & Sniff Technique.  Very clever and it worked great with this stamp set.

Throwback Thursday: Fall Centerpiece

Love this idea...  you can make this for Fall, for Christmas... makes a wonderful center piece.   Basically it's one piece of 12 x 12 paper, with cuts going down, but all the way through the paper and you have a glass candle holder in the middle... Clever and beautiful.

October Class Projects

Today I am sharing the projects from my October class.  We made the last of the Coaster Calendars.  Love the way the December one came out... Just realized the coaster calendar doesn't have a calendar on there... but I think you can figure it out.

I also made this adorable centerpiece.  I saw this on Pinterest and had to try it.  Came out cute.

I wasn't sure of the box I saw on pinterest, so I made it my own.  I used a 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of Old Olive card stock and I scored 2 1/4 on all sides.
