December Stampin' Up! Class Projects

Today I'm sharing the projects from my December stamping class.  I will be posting more photos and details on each project later in the week.

These little pouches were my giveaway item.  I saw this idea on Pootles blog and loved it.  I put a York Peppermint Patty inside each pouch.

Details:  Outer part:  5 5/8 x 2 1/2 and score at 2 1/2 and 3 1/8.  Inner box:  6 1/2 x 1 3/4 and score on the long side at 2 1/2, 3, 5 1/2 and 6.  Then score on the short side at 1/2.

Throwback Thursday: Christmas Gift Bag

This is one of my favorite gift bags we made for a class project a few yesrs ago.

The hanging tag is made using transparency paper cut in a circle and the rim around the tag has glue and glitter... of course.  The snow was made ripped strips of white paper with glitter on the peaks and the little trees were made using Stampin' Up! Christmas DSP cut into small triangles.

2015 Blog Planner

I live and die by my blog planner.  It helps me keep track of my blog posts and plan my posts days in advance.  I started using a blog planner last year and found it invaluable.  I plan out at least 15 blog posts ahead of time and then I keep track of what posting is going to appear on which date and then I also keep track of the posts on Pinterest, Facebook, etc.  You can also track and keep statistics on the traffic to your blog.  I keep track of my posts, my future blog ideas, contacts, advertising, giveaways, etc.

I've spent several months coming up with my new 2015 Blog Planner and now it's available for you to purchase.  You can download your own copy for $10.00.

Stampin' Up! Ornamental Pine Christmas Card

It usually takes me a little while to come up with my Christmas card for the year.  But I have to admit as soon as I saw the stamp set Ornamental Pine in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini, I knew that was the one.  My cards were a lot of work, but it was worth it.  I love the way they turned out.  I used Last Lagoon and Soft Sky card stock and I embossed the white pine branch and the speckles of snow using White Craft Ink and white embossing powder.  Speckles were from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Season's Greetings Snowflake Card

Today I am sharing a sample of holiday cards I made for a friend... handmade 110 cards.  Yikes!!

Stampin' Up! Jewelry

Stamping is never ending... you can stamp and make anything out of anything.  I've seen ornaments made out of the cardboard piece that is left over from an empty toilet paper roll.  So why not make necklace out of paper or a washer from Home Depot...  amazing.

Made by Sandy Silberquit - she made this beautiful necklace out of rolled up paper.  It was a great Secret Santa Gift.

I can recall exactly, but I think I got this as a swap.  It is a metal washer that you find in the plubming section at Home Depot.

Another project made by Sandy.  That's DSP paper behind that clear stone and she used ribbon as the necklace.
