Technique Tuesday: Bargello Technique

This is a technique you don't see often... Bargello Technique.  As I was posting this 6x6 technique card I wondered why it was called "Bargello Technique".  I Googled it...  Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid in a mathematical pattern to create motifs.  The name originates from a series of chairs found in the Bargello Palace in Florence.  I guess that makes sense when you see the pattern.

Color Combo Challenge #29: Pacific Point, So Saffron, Baked Brown Sugar

This Color Combo was definitely a challenge for me.  I was never a fan of the color Pacific Point, but I have to admit that it goes nicely with Baked Brown Sugar and is nicely complimented by the softness of So Saffron.
