Tuesday Technique: Faux Wood Technique

Very cool technique... looks like wood planks.  This is done with inks and scoring tool.  This would be a great background for a "fall/autumn" card.  I always wonder who comes up with these cool technique ideas.





Stampin' Up! Best Thoughts

I love this new Stampin' Up! stamp set, Best Thoughts... It's one of the hostess sets from the new catalog.  I cased this card from Pinterest.  I switched up the design a little.  I embossed the flower and the butterfly with white embossing powder and colored them in with So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Last Lagoon.  Love the way it turned out.





Stampin' Up! Flower Shop and Birthday Blossoms

This card was a project from my July Stampin' Class.  I used the Stampin' Up! stamp sets Flower Shop and Birthday Blossoms.  The background is Sahara Sand card stock with the Honeycomb embossing folder.  The flowers were stamped in Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  I saw this card on Pinterest and love it so much I had to make it.
