Stamping Get Together... Swaps
These are swaps from my stamping get together with some friends. I made the background using ink pads, a clear block and a spritzer with water. You can find instructions on this technique from a previous post on February 11.
Stampin' Up! Rose Garden Resist
I used daubers to color in this rose and leaves. I used the Rose Garden Thinlits to cut out the rose on white card stock. I colored in and around with daubers and Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Ink Pads. You can find directions in my previous post from February 17.
Stampin With Scraps: Love Blossoms Paper Stack
This is a great sample of how to put your paper scraps to good use. All those little strips make a beautiful card. Love this Blossoms Paper Stack from the new Occasions Catalog.
Pleated Skirt Technique: Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper
I had to try this Pleated Skirt Technique. It works very well with the new Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper from the new Occasions Catalog. See instructions below.
I cut a strip of Birthday Bouquet DSP measuring 6 x 12. I then scored at 2, 3, 5 6, 8, 9 and 11. Then I measured an 1" on each end and put a pencil mark.
I used those pencil marks to cut the piece in half at an angle. You can make four cards with one sheet of 12 x 12 DSP.
